Onanjath Some of the best vocals I have ever heard for this style of music. Dormant Ordeal is the same. Some wonderful dark atmosphere here for your weird lost soul to wander in Favorite track: Every Tree a Sanctuary.

Babisduc A phenomenal mix of styles and influences, but with a lot of internal coherenece.
Full of surprises and different dynamics, keeps you alert for details, melodies and sounds that appear in the many layers involved.

mourner Arghbeast is right: the synths create a dense and eerie atmosphere that adds a lot to the songs. Everyone here improved since the selftitled EP and the songwriting is much more elaborate and varied. This is a big step up for Cursebinder. Favorite track: Drifting.

Cursebinder was born in 2019 in Kraków, Poland, combining black and doom metal influences with an eye for unrestrained experimentation. Pursuing diverse influences and drawing from post rock, shoegaze, avantgarde and progressive metal, they developed a sound entirely of their own, culminating in the debut LP Drifting.

Recorded and produced through 2022 at the venerable Impressive Art studio, Drifting fuses nuanced guitar work, a wide variety of rhythms and psychedelic ambiances. Shifting between aggressive and philosophical moods, Cursebinder's debut album contains lyrical exploration of the ways in which human ambition and greed repeatedly crash in the face of natural order, and how feelings of restlessness, disconnection and cold isolation permeate the modern world

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did!
